Description

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing critical master data used across manufacturing and ERP systems, including materials, bills of materials, routings, suppliers, customers, and related attributes. This role helps ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness so production, planning, procurement, inventory, and reporting processes can operate reliably. **1\. Essential Duties and Responsibilities** · Create, update, and maintain master data records such as material parts masters, bills of materials, routings, work centers, vendors, customers, and pricing records in ERP or MRP systems according to established governance rules and approval workflows. · Review incoming data requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorization before setup or change processing. · Monitor data quality, identify duplicate or incomplete records, and drive corrective actions to improve data integrity. · Partner with Production Planning, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to define and maintain manufacturing data standards. · Support new product introduction and engineering changes by setting up and maintaining materia...
