This Mining Engineer position is located at GCC's Tijeras, NM plant, just 15 minutes from Albuquerque, NM. Relocation assistance is available. We are seeking a motivated Mining Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and 0\-5 years of mining industry experience. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of mine planning, engineering principles, permitting, regulatory compliance, and project coordination, with the ability to support mining operations through data\-driven decision\-making and continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will assist with mine planning, engineering projects, permitting activities, contractor coordination, and operational improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The successful candidate will help prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation, support daily mining operations, and contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining practices.
