Job Overview Manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Accountant who will be responsible for managing accounts payable, cost accounting, and inventory control operations. Job Responsibilities * Coordinate the month\-end closing procedure and maintain the general ledger in a manufacturing and departmental environment. * Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. * Prepare monthly sales tax returns for these entities. * Calculating the exact cost of manufacturing goods—including direct materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overhead. * Receiving vendor invoices and performing three\-way matching (matching the purchase order, receiving report/goods receipt, and vendor invoice) to verify that the company is only paying for goods or services actually received. * Maintaining vendor master files, addressing billing discrepancies, and reconciling monthly vendor statements to ensure accounts are accurate and up\-to\-date. * Scheduling and executing payments via checks, Automated Clearing House (ACH), wire transfers, or virtual cards before invoices become past due. * Reconcile and analyze various general ledger account...
