Description

The sales manager is responsible for managing the implementation of the hotel's sales and the development of new business, group and events segments. Strategies will include market mix, pricing, status, direct sales, and outside calls in finding new business for the hotel. Maximize profitability for the hotel and outstanding quality service for the guests and clients. The ideal candidate would be organized, detail oriented, an aggressive outside sales manager, and enjoy working in a team environment. Highschool or equivalent education is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Previous sales experience is required. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: * Daily solicitations of assigned accounts and of potential new business. * Solicitation calls as part of the "total sales call concept" on behalf of HGI Louisville Northeast in accordance with established standards. * Participate in Saturday Sales/Catering coverage in office as well as participate in daily Lobby Ambassador Schedule. * Responsible for soliciting new group room accounts, entertaining and maintaining relationships with existing accounts to meet and exceed group room budget/forecast. * Solicit...
