We are seeking a detail\-oriented, organized and dependable **Payroll \& Sales Tax Preparation Specialist**. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience handling payroll processing and sales tax preparation. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality, and providing excellent service. **Responsibilities** Process Payroll accurately and timely for clients.(Near 50 in two week period) Prepare and file sales tax returns in accordance with applicable state and local requirements. Maintain accurate, payroll, tax, and employee records. Ensure compliance with applicable payroll and sales tax regulations. Reconcile payroll and tax records and assist in solving discrepancies. Communicate professionally with clients, employees and tax agencies as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information. Assist with other bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed. **Qualifications** Experience in payroll processing and sales tax preparation preferred.
