Posting Details The General Services Department (GSD) State Purchasing Division (SPD) is responsible for managing centralized purchasing throughout the State with a significant number of public procurement activities under its care and control. SPD focuses on providing cost\-effective products and services through competitive, open and transparent purchases. SPD issues statewide pricing agreements and cooperative contracts that are made available for use by NM Governmental entities for over $6 billion dollars expended annually. SPD is charged with ensuring compliance with the State Procurement Code, which exists to create an open, fair and competitive procurement process. The role and responsibilities of SPD play an integral part in providing optimum value and quality services to the State. Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
