**Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist – Clinical Research Position** **Reports To: Clinical Research Coordinator / Clinic Supervisor** **Department: Clinic** **Medical Assistant\-** The Clinical Research Phlebotomist is responsible for performing high\-quality venipuncture and specimen collection in support of clinical research protocols. This role ensures accurate handling, processing, and documentation of biological samples while maintaining strict adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards. This position requires the ability to manage a workflow of incoming and outgoing medical records, the release of information, phone calls requesting medical record information, and the scanning of medical record documents. The position interfaces with all facets of the organization including physicians, nursing, administration, scheduling and billing.
