Overview: The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers in a busy Pediatric and General Internal Medicine clinic. This role is responsible for coordinating patient flow, preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and health histories, assisting with clinical procedures, administering vaccines and medications as directed, and supporting preventive and chronic care management. The Medical Assistant serves patients across the lifespan, from infants and children to adults and older adults, ensuring a positive patient experience through compassionate care, effective communication, and attention to quality and safety standards.
