Appalachian Hospice, a locally owned hospice provider based in Jasper, GA is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrator. In this position, the Administrator will report directly to the Governing Board. The following are the job qualifications and responsibilities: **QUALIFICATIONS:** * A person who is a registered nurse * Has at least two (2\) years’ experience as hospice administrator/clinical manager with prior employer * Demonstrated ability in or application of organizational/communication skills. * Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress. * Ability to enlist the cooperation of many people in furthering a program. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Organizes and directs Hospice’s ongoing liaison among the Governing Body and staff. * Employs qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff education and evaluations. * Implements effective financial controls; assures accuracy for billing procedures. * Consistently follows Hospice policies and procedures to set an example for employees. * Assesses employees on an ongoing basis to ascertain their understanding of policies and procedures. * Assists employees to support policies and achieve necessary changes. * ...
