**Join Komatsu and Be Part of Something Big!** **Job Overview** ---------------- To develop and maintain suppliers for all production parts in accordance to quality, cost and delivery requirements and to ensure continuous improvement of QDC, while reducing purchased – part cost by continually identifying and implementing cost reduction measures with suppliers and controlling inventory to meet current target levels – all the while adhering to the mandated goal to produce machines which meet or exceed the requirements of the design specification. **Key Job Responsibilities** ---------------------------- * Builds and maintains strong supplier relationships to support delivery, quality, cost, responsiveness, and supply continuity. * Monitors purchase orders, supplier commitments, lead times, capacity, and delivery risks; communicates issues early and coordinates recovery plans. * Tracks supplier performance using key metrics and addresses performance issues through improvement plans. * Partners with suppliers to identify root causes of shortages and delays and implement corrective actions. * Escalates critical supplier issues and works cross\-functionally to minimize operational impact...
