**Job Posting ID:** KT\_276\_JOB **Position:** Senior Accountant **Role Status:** Full\-Time, Temp to Hire **Location:** Remote, must reside in one of the following: MD, DC, VA, TX, GA or FL **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred. **Overview:** Kreative Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant with government contracting experience to support our operational accounting needs. This role works closely with our CFO and Accounting Manager and plays a key role in month end close, reconciliations and accurate compliant financial reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail\-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast\-paced government contracting environment. **Duties/Responsibilities:** * Reviews and performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and makes necessary adjustments ahead of month end close. * Supports and helps lead the month end close process. * Performs or oversees fixed asset accounting, accounts payable and payroll accounting. * Prepares project financial status reports for leadership and Project Managers. * Identifies, researches and resolves accounting issues; traces discrepancies and maintains supp...
