Duties Description Under the general supervision of the Associate Workers' Compensation Examiner and direct supervision of the Senior Workers' Compensation Examiner, within the Insurance Compliance Unit, the incumbent of this position will be is responsible for having an in depth understanding of WCB Laws, procedures, and policies to assist Employers, Carriers, and Authorized Representatives regarding Compliance issues. Duties of this position include but are not limited to: * Supervising subordinate examiner and clerical staff * Handling of complex phone calls * Processing complex correspondence * Processing returned mail * Processing work requests * Answering emails Minimum Qualifications This title is part of the New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide Program (NY HELPS). For the duration of the NY HELPS Program, this title may be filled via a non\-competitive appointment, which means no examination is required but all candidates must meet the minimum qualifications of the title for which they apply.
