We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will prepare tax returns, support tax planning and compliance, and assist with bookkeeping and accounting activities for our clients. If you enjoy solving problems, working with clients, and growing your tax expertise, we would love to hear from you! **Job Duties:** \- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals \- Review financial records and prepare tax workpapers, reconciliations, and adjusting entries \- Research tax issues and assist with tax planning and estimated tax calculations \- Assist with responses to IRS and state tax notices \- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions, processing AP and AR, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts \- Assist with month\-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations \- Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax and accounting questions \- Manage filing deadlines and assist clients with business compliance requirements **Qualifications:** \- At least 3 years of tax preparation experience \- Experience working at an accounting firm is required...
