**Build the tallest timber building in Portland — and grow into a Project Manager in 3 years.** Basalt \& Cedar Construction Group is a Portland\-based general contractor with 20 years in the Pacific Northwest. We build offices, schools, affordable housing and mass timber projects. 30% of the company is owned by our employees. **The role** You'll join the team delivering Riverline Tower, a 12\-story mass timber office building in the Pearl District ($68M, completion 2028\). You'll work side by side with a Senior PM and Superintendent, split roughly 60% office / 40% jobsite. **What you'll do** \- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders in Procore \- Track the schedule and flag delays before they happen \- Coordinate daily with subcontractors, architects and structural engineers \- Walk the site weekly to check quality and progress against the model \- Help prepare monthly cost reports and owner meetings **What you need** \- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field \- 1–3 years on commercial projects (internships count) \- Working knowledge of Procore or similar, Bluebeam, MS Project or P6 \- Clear written English.
