* *Securian Financial Group’s internal position title is Financial Reporting Analyst.* **Position Summary:** The Employee Benefits Solutions (EBS) finance team is looking for a motivated and analytical problem solver to join our dynamic business area as a Financial Reporting Accountant. Working with a broad array of products and clients—with a particular emphasis on the large employer group insurance market and a significant array of reinsurance programs–our team prepares the accounting entries for our GAAP and Statutory financial statements. In addition, we work closely with auditors (both internal and external) and prepare numerous schedules and exhibits for internal and external reporting requirements, including rating agency presentations, blue book financial schedules, and internal data and metric preparation for senior management. **Responsibilities include but not limited to:** * Prepares EBS division financial reporting and ensures timely and accurate processing. * Ensures the compliance, accuracy and completeness of the allocation of EBS premiums to facilitate the accurate payment of premium tax. * Ensures the accuracy of accounting transactions processed within the busine...
