We are seeking an experienced **Assistant Property Controller** who is responsible for ensuring all activity is accurately recorded in the financial statements from income control, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and financial accounting. They also ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, NIGC, and Tribal Gaming Authority. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Review and approve general ledger journal entries prepared by his or her staff for accuracy and ensure accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as well as the SVCR accounting policies and procedures. * Plan and monitor all revenue audit accounting transactions, internal controls, financial and statistical reporting, and reconciliations. * Ensure compliance with internal controls for all departments and administrative controls as related to team members, policies and procedures, Regulations, State Compact, MICS, and NIGC. * Ensure timeliness of tax and license submi...
