Description

The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Project Engineer III for a large educational client within Los Angeles County with the below duties: * Provide technical and administrative support for the Program Management Office (PMO) Construction Department and District Facilities, Planning and Development Department, exclusively on Bond funded projects. * Track and follow\-up with the owner/design team/construction team RFIs and submittals as required during design, pre\-bid, and construction phases. * Perform internal reviews of Change Orders (CO), Field Orders (FO) and other contractual documents of Districtwide Design/Construction projects. * Coordinate with PMO staff and College Project Teams (CPT) on the review and processing of Change Orders for all active construction projects. * Performs detailed review of Change Order documents for completeness and accuracy. * Participate in coordination meetings to facilitate timely reviews. * Maintain Change Order Logs and other tracking documents for PMO use and reference. * Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings. * Assist in pre...
