**Job Purpose:** To provide expert tax preparation and advisory services to clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of individual and business tax returns. This role involves direct client communication, preparation and review of tax returns, and acting as an advocate for clients with tax authorities. **Key Responsibilities:** **Tax Preparation and Review:** * Communicate with clients to gather tax organizers and any missing information needed to complete tax preparation. * Assist clients in cleaning up bookkeeping records to complete business tax returns. * Prepare individual income tax returns (1040\) and business income tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041\). * Review individual and business income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance. **Client Communication:** * Communicate with clients across the country via email, video meetings, and telephone regarding tax matters. * Act as an advocate on behalf of clients when communicating with the IRS and other tax authorities. **Team Support:** * Contribute to team goals and objectives by providing support and guidance to junior staff. * Build positive relationships with team members and resolve minor conflicts within t...
