### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Days, 5x8hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Step\-down unit position requiring an active MA license and 2\+ years of MedSurg, LTAC, or ICU experience. ### **Details** * Step\-down unit within a rehabilitation hospital setting * Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM * Every other weekend (EOW) requirement * Patient ratios up to 1:10, typically lower * Uses MATRIX EMR system with training provided ### **Requirements** * Active MA RN license required in hand for acceptance * 2\+ years of experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or ICU required * IV certification preferred * Skilled in peripheral IV placement and phlebotomy * Experience with central line care including PICC lines and ports * Competency in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator management (excluding settings adjustment) * Experience with wound care, wound vac maintenance, and drain care * Catheter care skills including Foley insertion and straight catheterization * Experience administering blood transfusions and TPN * Basic rhythm analysis and telemetry patient care skil...
