Job Description Job Title: Medical Assistant I \- Cardiology Division: Medicine Work Arrangement: Onsite only Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: $39,150 \- $46,059 FLSA Status: Nonexempt Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. **Summary** ----------- The Section of Cardiology is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Medical Assistant I (MA I) to join our team. Under close supervision, the Medical Assistant I provides direct patient care support and performs a variety of clinical, administrative, and clerical responsibilities to facilitate efficient, safe, and high\-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include obtaining and accurately documenting vital signs and patient information, coordinating patient flow, scheduling and coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate medical records, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, and providing support to physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
