**Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED)** **Location:** Chico, CA **Job Type:** Contract **Contract:** 13 Weeks **Pay Rate: $ 2,200 To $ 2,400 per week** **Schedule:** Varied 12\-Hour Shifts **Experience:** Minimum 2 Years of Recent Emergency Department Experience Required **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced **Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED)** for a 13\-week contract opportunity in Chico, California. The RN will provide high\-acuity emergency nursing care in a **Level II Trauma Center** serving pediatric and adult patients with trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other emergency conditions. **Responsibilities** * Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize emergency nursing interventions based on acuity and clinical condition. * Provide emergency care for pediatric, trauma, STEMI, stroke, and other high\-acuity medical and surgical presentations. * Monitor patient status, recognize clinical deterioration, and initiate appropriate emergency interventions and escalation of care. * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic testing, medications, treatment, stabilization, and d...
