**Job Tittle: Nationally Certified Medical Assistant – Urgent Care / $1880/wk** **Location**: Juneau ,AK **Maximum Pay:** Up to $1880/wk **Contract Length:** 10 Weeks with extension opportunities **Shift:** Sun\-Sat 8am\-8pm, schedule varies. **Job Overview** We are seeking a Clinical Assistant to support providers and nursing staff with patient care, clinical procedures, and documentation while maintaining patient safety and efficient clinic operations **Roles \& Responsibilities :\-** * Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records. * Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition. * Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. * Collect specimens and perform point\-of\-care testing (POCT). * Administer immunizations and injections as ordered and within scope of practice. **Requirements :\-** * High school diploma or GED. * Current BLS certification. * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA); a qualifying nursing degree may substitute as specified by the facility. * At least 1 year of healthcare experience. * Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred. * Strong communication, organizational, and patient care ski...
