We are looking for an intuitive **Construction Accountant** to join our team on a full\-time basis! Axiom Group is a small business general contractor and we specialize in Public Works construction. We are located in the City of Los Angeles, and we take pride in building long\-lasting relationships with our clients and within the company. The ideal candidate has previous experience with construction accounting and can work independently. **Responsibilities:** *General Tasks* * Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and faxing documents * Maintain flexibility and openness to learn and take on additional projects as necessary *Accounting Operations \& Vendor Management* * Accounting management including A/P and A/R, monthly account reconciliations, payroll, fringe payments, vendor W\-9 forms maintenance, etc. * Actively participate in project forecasting, recording contracts and tracking change orders, responsible for maintaining cost analysis and providing reports to management * Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year\-end financial statements and closeouts for management review. * Provide support to internal and external audit process ...
