**Job Overview** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting overall financial compliance. **Responsibilities** * Record vendor invoices accurately ensuring invoiced quantities and unit pricing agrees to purchase order details. * Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers by collecting W\-9’s, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. * Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. * Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries. * Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos. * Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; verifying charges with receipts and preparing checks. * Maintain up\-to\-date and accurate accounting ledgers by verifying and posting ac...
