Responsibilities/Job Description: Clinically focused infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship pharmacy position to provide pharmaceutical care to patients, provide consult services to physicians, support the research and educational objectives, and serve as informational resource to colleagues. **Responsibilities*** Provide pharmaceutical care to patients including patient assessments, identifying and documenting drug therapy problems, resolving drug problems and providing drug information. * Coordinate pharmacy services with pharmacists and technicians. * Participate in departmental initiatives, including formulary and cost\-reduction initiatives. * Develop pharmacotherapy expertise for a select patient group; serve as a resource for the care of these patients. * Foster an environment of departmental teamwork with other pharmacists, technicians, residents, and students. * Develop and maintain interdepartmental relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. * Serve as primary preceptor for the residency program and clerkship students from the College of Pharmacy. * Provide drug information for medical staff, nursing staff and patients. * Partici...
