**Controller** -------------- Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with an innovative, AI tech\-forward litigation law firm representing property owners and plaintiffs in complex construction defect and property damage matters across California, which is seeking a **Controller.** The Controller leads day\-to\-day accounting operations and is the hands\-on owner of the general ledger, month\-end close, and internal controls. This is a high\-impact seat with real complexity: case cost tracking, trust/IOLTA compliance, settlement disbursements, and the accounting side of firm acquisitions. #### **Responsibilities:** * Supervise AP, AR, and payroll staff, and own the month\-end and year\-end close * Reconcile case costs between the case management system and QuickBooks * Oversee settlement disbursement calculations (fees, costs, liens, referral fees) for CFO/partner approval * Maintain strict, auditable segregation of client trust/IOLTA and operating funds * Lead accounting for acquisitions, including purchase accounting, due diligence support, and integrating acquired practices' books and systems * Produce weekly and monthly financial reports for partners and leadership * Ke...
