This position is responsible for the administration of taxpayer accounts as part of Special Tax Programs by effectively working with internal and external customers to achieve desired work results and maintains positive relationships while achieving consistency, thoroughness and accuracy on assigned work and projects. This position analyzes complex returns and taxpayer documentation, refund adjustments, special projects and participate in form feedback and meetings, analyzes and researches complex documents to ensure NM statutes, regulations and policy requirements are satisfied. This position ensures and involves more technical knowledge, analysis and understanding in the accuracy of computations, tax collections, assessments, abatements, refunds, adjustments and other tax related activities.
