**Role:** Senior Cost Accountant **Location:** Decatur, Georgia – On\-Site **Job Type:** Full\-Time, W\-2, In\-Person **Position Summary** -------------------- Better Planet and Warehouse Sales \& Services is seeking an experienced **Senior Cost Accountant** to provide full\-time accounting support for multiple companies. This is a **full\-time, on\-site, in\-person W\-2 position** based in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have **strong hands\-on experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, production accounting, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, and QuickBooks Online**. This position requires more than general ledger and bookkeeping experience. The successful candidate must understand **how costs move through a manufacturing environment\-from purchasing and inventory through work orders, production, labor, overhead, finished goods, sales, and ultimately the financial statements.** The Senior Cost Accountant will be expected to analyze manufacturing costs, identify discrepancies, support accurate inventory valuation, evaluate production and inventory adjustments, and provide management with reliable financial information for decision\-making.
