The New Mexico WIC Program, Department of Health and Food and Nutrition Bureau safeguards the health of nutritionally at\-risk low\-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infant, children and seniors by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, nutrition information for healthy eating, health counseling, breastfeeding support, nutrition classes, cooking classes, and referrals to health care providers and social services. Why does the job exist? The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and Seniors Farmers Market Programs, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program and WIC Regional field staff. How does it get done? Purpose of the position is to serve as part of the Women, Infants, and Children's (WIC) State Office Finance team, which encompass an annual budget of approximately $62 million.
