**Prima CARE, P.C.** **Position Title:** Registered Nurse **Status:** Non\-Exempt **Reports to:** Director of Nursing **General Scope of Responsibility:** In coordination with and under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Designee, the registered nurse performs clinical care in the Angio Suite in Fall River and/or Ambulatory Surgery Center located in North Providence RI. The Registered Nurse must have both RI and MA licenses. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for nursing care of patients who have diagnosed chronic vascular diseases or other disease processes. The nurse will be responsible for assisting the physician with treatment including surgical procedures and the administration of medications. **Essential Job Functions:** · Provide patients and families with appropriate pre\- and post\-procedure education and instructions. · Reviews and follows\-up with any indicated lab results or other pre\-operative testing, and notifying the appropriate parties of any significant results. · Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural services. · Prepare patients, medications, equipment, and procedure rooms for schedu...
