**DESCRIPTION** --------------- We are looking for a General Manager (GM) to lead all aspects of the operations of a Fulfillment Center (FC), including people, process and systems that deliver products to our customers as promised. Amazon.com’s success is built on a foundation of customer obsession, and the GM of an Amazon FC is a key role in the first\-mile value stream in support of the customer experience. The GM is a multi\-faceted leadership role, requiring an executive to balance daily execution with the long\-term development of a highly effective team. The role requires a detailed understanding of every operational component of a facility, including associate needs, information technology, robotics technology and process improvement. A successful GM will provide thoughtful vision and direction for the team while fostering bottoms\-up input and participation in process\-improvement from all levels of the organization. The GM serves as the face of the organization to thousands of employees and the entire community where the facility is located.
