Full job description **Job Overview** New practice opening in Roanoke, Virginia seeking a part time (20 \- 30 hours per week) experienced Medical Assistant with the ability to grow to full time position. **Responsibilities** * Room patients, take vitals and prepare patients for provider * Keeps patient rooms clean and restocked * Answers phones, schedules patients and patient intake, working with receptionist as needed * Assisting physician with in office procedures * Update EMH as needed * Make follow\-up calls to patients ensuring patient needs are met in a timely manner **Requirements** * Clinical MA experience preferred, CMA certification a plus * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Professional appearance and demeanor * Phlebotomy experience required * Pay: $20\.00 \- $22\.00 per hour Expected hours: 20\.0 – 30\.0 per week Work Location: In person **Job Summary** Opportunity to work with a highly dedicated but small staff committed to patient care.
