**Cost Accountant** **Department:** Finance / Accounting **Reports To:** Director of Finance **Employment Type:** Full\-Time, Exempt **About the Role** We are seeking a detail\-oriented **Cost Accountant** to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product costing, analyzing manufacturing variances, and supporting inventory valuation and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has hands\-on experience with **JobBoss ERP** and a strong understanding of cost accounting principles within a job\-shop or discrete manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and update standard costs, routings, and bills of materials (BOMs) within the ERP * Analyze and report on labor, material, and overhead variances by job, work order, and product line * Monitor work\-in\-process (WIP) inventory and reconcile job costs to the general ledger * Perform monthly, quarterly, and year\-end physical/cycle count reconciliations and inventory valuation * Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis and gross margin reporting by customer, product, and job * Partner with production, purchasing, and engineering teams to identify cost drivers and process impro...
