**Position Summary** Designer roles encompass the design and implementation of building systems and structures, including specialties such as fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and other mechanical disciplines. **Position Details** * Supports senior designers and engineers on complex design tasks with minimal supervision, taking ownership of assigned work. * Completes calculations, drawings and specifications for small projects. Performs quality control prior to peer review submission to ensure accuracy. * Manages the full lifecycle of small project, including layout, permit procurement, field surveys, coordination, and fabrication lists. * Handles field generated questions, prepares RFI, and develops as\-builts. * Applies codes, specifications, and design standards across multiple projects. * Leads field surveys and integrates findings into design solutions. * Implements design modifications and field solutions. **Qualifications** * High School diploma or GED required * 3\+ years of relevant experience in construction engineering design * Journeyman or apprentice experience preferred * NICET Level I Certification preferred for Fire Protection * Skill in performing project calculation...
