Overview: The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions for Rug Doctor operations. This role performs a variety of general accounting activities that support the month\-end close process, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and compliance with company policies and GAAP. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross\-functional and remote teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and works under general supervision. Responsibilities: * Prepare and post journal entries and perform assigned month\-end close activities within the established close process. * Complete monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts.
