Description

The Procurement Specialist supports the day\-to\-day execution of procurement activities for the Rockville manufacturing site across direct materials, indirect materials, services, capital expenditures (CapEx), and operating expenditures (OpEx). This role partners closely with the Associate Director, Procurement and cross\-functional stakeholders to ensure business requirements are competitively sourced, contractually supported, and fulfilled in accordance with Samsung Biologics procurement policies and applicable GMP requirements. The Procurement Specialist contributes to site performance by improving procurement execution, maintaining spend and supplier visibility, supporting cost\-reduction initiatives, monitoring supplier performance, and proactively identifying supply and commercial risks.
