Position Title: Superintendent Department/Category: Field Reports to: Superintendent Creation/Revision Date: 5/14/26 POSITION SUMMARY A construction superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction projects, managing field personnel, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications. Superintendents are the lead on\-site managers for construction projects. The superintendent will also be responsible for tracking onsite responsibilities with the in office project manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB * Oversee all on\-site construction activities from start to completion * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and construction crews * Monitor project schedules and ensure deadlines are met * Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents * Enforce OSHA and company safety policies on the job site * Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance * Schedule material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce needs * Resolve job site issues, delays, and conflicts quickly and effectively * Maintain daily reports, progre...
