We are looking for an experienced **Accounting Manager** to oversee accounting for a multi\-company construction operation. This is a hands\-on position with responsibility for the day\-to\-day accounting function, project accounting, WIP, cash flow, certified payroll, and compliance. The right person will have demonstrated construction accounting experience and be comfortable working closely with project managers and company leadership. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounting function, spot issues, and work directly with the team to get them resolved. ### **Responsibilities** * Oversee day\-to\-day accounting for multiple companies, including AP, AR, general ledger, cash management, and month\-end close * Prepare and maintain WIP schedules and percentage\-of\-completion calculations * Review job costs, project margins, change orders, committed costs, and estimated costs to complete * Work with project managers to make sure job costs and project financials are accurate and up to date * Manage construction billing, including progress billings, retention, and collections * Monitor cash flow across the companies and maintain cash flow forecasts * Track rece...
