### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor \& Delivery night shift position requiring 2 years of L\&D experience and AWHONN Intermediate certification. ### **Details** * 19\-bed Labor and Delivery unit with 100\-200 facility births per month * Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM\-7:00 AM) * 1:2\-3 patient ratio * Floating to postpartum/mother baby required * Uses Epic charting system * Performs vaginal exams, management of second stage, amnioinfusion, and assists with high\-risk and vaginal deliveries * Administers medications including antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate, pitocin, prostaglandins, and terbutaline * Provides neonatal care in delivery room including APGAR scoring, cord sampling, and neonatal resuscitation * Uses external and internal fetal monitoring with recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns ### **Requirements** * Active RN license (NC or Compact) * Current certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (AWHONN Advanced preferred) * Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience req...
