### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a VA or compact license and 2\+ years of ER experience. ### **Details** * Acute care hospital setting with a 24\-hour Emergency Department * Patient population spans the full age spectrum from pediatric to geriatric * Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM * 36 hours per week guaranteed * Every other weekend required * No on\-call requirements * Rare floating, limited to units appropriate to skill set or to assist as additional support * Uses Meditech EHR ### **Requirements** * Active RN license (VA or Compact) required * Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS * 2\+ years of ER experience required * Proficient in phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport * Self\-motivated and self\-sufficient with ability to perform all ER tasks independently ### **Additional Information** * Provide direct patient care for standard ER cases across all age groups * Focus on patient\-centered care while meeti...
