JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, is responsible for maintaining fixed asset inventory control for the County; prepares reports; performs data entry; monitors and inspects fixed assets; and performs related duties as required. RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Receives, tags, and conducts inventory of County property. 2\. Prepares fixed asset reports for Commissioners Court. 3\. Coordinates with the Auditor’s Office to ensure payment of fixed asset purchase orders are received prior to tagging. 4\. Monitors all Countywide stolen, lost or destroyed fixed assets. Assists County Offices and Departments in locating missing and/or stolen items to include firearms (police report(s)/state reporting). 6\. Inspects new fixed assets prior to acceptance. Coordinates and assists in moving or auctioning of fixed assets. 8\. Issues manufacturing and classification codes to all fixed asset purchase orders. Maintains a log of changes to account distribution codes. 10\. Enters purchase orders into fixed asset computer system. 11\. Performs other duties as assigned.
