**Job Goals**: To provide high\-quality physical therapy services to address the needs of a student with a disability as they relate to mobility and functional skills related to the skills needed for a student to receive a free and appropriate education. These services include, but are not limited to assessment/evaluation, treatment, IEP planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation, and communication teachers, other service providers, medical personnel and families. **Qualifications:** * Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program * Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Alabama * Three years of experience in a similar position is preferred. * Demonstrates knowledge of the federal and state education rules and regulations which impact a Physical Therapist's role in providing services to students with disabilities in school settings. * Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may require. **FLSA Status**: Exempt **Reports to**: Special Education Director **Background Check Required:** (Ala.
