**Position**: Maintenance Worker **Department**: Water Distribution \& Waste Water Collection **Reports to**: Distribution \& Collection Supervisor \& Equipment Operator II **Status**: Full\-time, Classified, Non\-Exempt **Pay Range**: L\-6, $25\.3976 \- $34\.3615 **Normal Working Hours**: Monday – Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M./Variable May include weekends and holidays, stand\-by, call\-out and overtime work. **Job Summary:** Under the general supervision of the Division Supervisor, Equipment Operator II, and/or Public Works Manager, the employee is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of equipment and light vehicles and for performing skilled to semi\-skilled maintenance tasks in any City department or division where such services are required. May also perform unskilled, routine, manual labor tasks using small hand tools.
