**Job Summary** --------------- Performs administrative work and assists with supervision in the Department of Emergency Services, EMS Division. Assists in the planning, implementing, evaluating and daily operations of the Emergency Medical Services Division. Works with local and regional EMS Councils, local EMS providers and agencies. Works directly under the supervision of the Chief of Career Emergency Medical Services. Manages essential functions to include the quality assurance process for patient care, the duties of narcotics control officer, training and credentialing, field operations oversight, staffing \& scheduling, wellness support, and regulatory compliance programs for the department. **The hiring salary for this position is $82,638 \- $91,291\.** **Essential Functions** ----------------------- * Assists with oversight of the daily operations and administration of the Emergency Medical Services Division in accordance with Federal, State and County laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. * Manages the department schedule and staffing plans.
