**Title:** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) **Reports To:** Nurse Manager **Direct Reports:** None **Classification/Category:** Clinical Support **Location:** Ahoskie Comprehensive Care (1st Floor) **Work Status**: On\-Site Only **Stipend(s):** None **Status:** Non\-Exempt **Summary of Position** Certified Medical Assistants are important members of the Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center (RCCHC) Care Teams. Medical Assistants are responsible for delivering excellent, high\-touch, primary care, and coordinating a patient centered care experience. The Medical Assistant role requires high levels of flexibility, energy, attention to detail, and problem\-solving. Medical Assistants will work closely and collaboratively with their teammates to greet and room RCCHC patients. S/he will be expected to assist in assessing patient’s health conditions, including performing routine diagnostic testing during appointments.
