**POSITION/JOB SUMMARY:** The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and coordinating safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility in accordance with the Minnesota Nursing Practice Act, federal and state regulations, and facility policies and procedures. The RN ensures the delivery of individualized, comprehensive, and resident\-centered care that supports dignity, continuity, quality of life, and optimal clinical outcomes. The RN assesses resident conditions, identifies nursing needs, participates in the development and implementation of care plans, evaluates resident outcomes, and ensures complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation. The RN appropriately delegates nursing tasks to LPNs, CNAs, and TMAs based on resident needs, staff competency, and applicable scope of practice, while remaining accountable for nursing care provided. This role requires strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, effective communication, and excellent customer service skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
