**POSITION SUMMARY** Works with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses and other members of the team, to optimize the health and wellness of adult clients with severe mental illnesses. **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Meet with individual consumers to measure vital signs, height and weight. Escort individuals to appropriate rooms Follow MiSide medical protocols and provide input for development of new protocols Support the nursing staff in rendering first aid as requested Conduct phone follow\-up with consumers and/or health care providers when requested by the members of the health care team Provide health education and information regarding health and wellness programs Assist with inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Inform management when items need to be purchased Perform clerical duties such as appointment scheduling, document scanning, medical records duties etc., as assigned Clean nursing/clinic area and ensure that all medical equipment is accounted for at the end of each day May conduct on\-site lab tests including blood glucose monitoring May perform phlebotomy (blood draw) or other lab specimens according to physician’s orders Draw blood from patients usi...
