About this Job: **General Summary of Position** Serves as the accountable leader for medication preparation pharmacy automation and distribution systems as well as continual regulatory readiness programs in accordance with all federal and state laws relating to the storage compounding and distribution of medications and the provision of pharmacy services. Works collaboratively within the highly integrated cross\-functional matrix driven pharmacy leadership team.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities** * Responsible for overall pharmacy supply chain including \- drug product selection formulary maintenance and development inventory control and drug management. * Responsible for management of personnel supervises hiring evaluating disciplining grievances and training among the team managed as outlined by departmental organizational structure. * Serves on the MedStar WHC Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. * Assists with hospital pharmacy department policy and procedure development. * Reviews and recommends department's supply chain related initiatives. * Responsible for planning organizing and developing the annual budget for approval.
