**Senior Traffic Engineer** **Job Type:** Full\-time **Work Arrangement:** Hybrid **Location:** Cranberry Township, Homestead, or Southpointe, PA **Pay:** $135,000 to $165,000 per year *Shape how Western Pennsylvania moves, one signal, corridor, and work zone at a time.* GAI Consultants is hiring a Senior Traffic Engineer for our Transportation Business Unit. You will lead traffic analysis and design on PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects. This role fits a licensed traffic engineer who enjoys hands\-on design and leading teams. **What You'll Do** * Lead traffic modeling and analysis using Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic * Design traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, and maintenance and protection of traffic (MPT) * Produce and check traffic reports, plans, specifications, and cost opinions * Manage scope, schedule, staffing, and budget on multidiscipline projects * Mentor engineers and support their growth **Required Qualifications** * 10\+ years of traffic engineering experience * Bachelor's degree in engineering * Professional Engineer (P.E.) license * Valid driver's license * Working knowledge of PennDOT, Turnpike, and MUTCD standards * MicroSta...
