**Lead Our Overnight Machining Team in York, PA** ------------------------------------------------- Picture your night: you arrive before the 11:00 p.m. start, touch base with your leads, and step onto a clean, safe floor. You’re the steady hand guiding the operation from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Your team counts on you to set the pace, clear roadblocks, and keep communication flowing to the next shift. You build trust with hourly employees and work shoulder\-to\-shoulder with union officers to keep people safe, schedules tight, and the department humming. ### **What You’ll Do** * Direct nightly machining operations: assign work, balance work centers, and set priorities to hit productivity and quality targets. * Champion safety and 5S: maintain a clean, hazard\-free shop and reinforce safe behaviors. * Set goals for the shift and staff appropriately to meet deadlines and project milestones. * Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and communication. * Coach and train hourly team members; troubleshoot issues as they arise. * Ensure clear handoffs between shifts so information, priorities, and issues don’t get lost. * Foster strong relationships wi...
